A growing business is looking for a Warehouse Manager to achieve the orderly and efficient operation of the Warehouse, Transport and Pick & Pack Department, ensuring that budgets and commercial targets are met, and to help to ensure the smooth running of the Production Department.  Along with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum (if you been instrumental in the implementation of a barcode system), you will also receive access to a discounts platform, 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, EAP programme and a pension scheme.  Please note that this is not a transport manager position as there is no fleet of vehicles to manage.  As Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include: Understanding the company’s Management Information Systems in regards to stock management and bay location, goods in & out, catalogue creation, delivery notes, transport requests, pick & pack, goods returned and the management of overs. Managing the Warehouse, Transport & Pick & Pack staff and the daily collections and deliveries Monitoring all aspects of the department Health and Safety and the safety and maintenance of the department’s vehicles, including the record keeping of all repairs and servicing. Developing and delivering a continuous training programme for the development of department staff. Investigating, recommending and installing new and innovative technical solutions including AIDC, RFID, barcoding and handheld devices to make ensure the efficient and productive use of the available space and manpower. Helping to ensure that all of the departments SLA’s are met. Performing the required daily machine and vehicle safety checks. Raising and logging all engineer calls. Completing projects as and when requested by the Production Director. We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager with:  Previous experience in warehouse and management Good verbal, written and listening skills The ability to generate innovative and effective solutions to meet requirements An understanding of commercial issues surrounding jobs Able to ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate Experience in implementing a barcode system in a warehouse would be advantageous A strong background in print production would be advantageous To apply for this role as Warehouse Manager, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.
