Transport Planner - Nights

Job Title: Transport Planner Location: Doncaster Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Night Shift Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated Transport Planner to join our growing client based in Doncaster on a permanent basis. The position is an office based role and would involve working 4 on 4 off nights. The role involves executing transportation plans efficiently, making real-time adjustments, and ensuring accurate communication. Responsibilities include managing administrative traffic duties, monitoring schedules, escalating issues, and using IT systems like TMS and tracking screens. The successful candidate will focus on meeting KPIs, ensuring factory clearance, and maintaining 100% system accuracy. Key Responsibilities: * Adjust live plans for factory clearance, inbound, and outbound work. * Perform administrative duties with precision. * Monitor and escalate scheduling issues. * Report vehicle accidents to management. * Meet KPIs and ensure compliance with SLAs. * Use TMS and tracking systems to ensure accuracy. Key Skills required: * Strong attention to detail. * Proficiency in IT systems, especially TMS. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
