Senior Electrical Engineer Location: Loughborough Salary: £43,000 This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering team dedicated to fuel cell development. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the hydrogen future by leading the design and documentation of electrical wiring harnesses and other key electrical work packages. Key Responsibilities: Utilize Solidworks Electrical to create detailed electrical schematics, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure project deliverables are met in a dynamic environment. Develop designs that transition smoothly from development to production while adhering to relevant standards. About You: You possess a BEng, BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or have a suitable non-degree qualification complemented by substantial industrial experience. With a minimum of 5 years’ experience post-degree, you have a proven track record in electrical wiring harness design and schematic capture, compliant with IPC/WHMA-A-620D standards, using Solidworks Electrical. Your knowledge extends to EMC/EMI control, application-specific standards, and you bring a creative flair to cable routing and management. A collaborative team player, you communicate effectively and exhibit strong attention to detail. You’re highly motivated and committed to delivering work packages on time.
