About the Role

We are entering an existing phase of our growth and are recruiting a Campaign Marketing Specialist fixed term contract role to focus on our Savings campaigns, working as part of our Marketing Communications team at Newcastle Building Society.


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Campaign Specialist will be responsible for the successful execution of the marketing plan for savings, financial advice and member value.


This will include launching and delivering innovative and exciting campaigns, propositions and content to support targets and achieve commercial goals.


You’ll use insights and data to support the design, project management and execution of campaigns to acquire, retain and engage customers. Making sure the creative briefs and project plans deliver engaging messaging across a variety of channels.


The role will work closely with all areas of Marketing as well as the wider marketing team and key stakeholders in the Society alongside external agencies.



About You

We are looking for candidates who will bring their passion, experience and skills to the role. You will have excellent communication skills with knowledge of creating and delivering marketing campaigns which resonate with the target audience.


You will be customer focused and comfortable using insight to drive tactics, performance and optimise return on investment.


The ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively is also important.


Experience of managing campaigns across a range of channels (including Email, Digital Marketing, Events, Press and Print Literature) is essential.


Ideally you would have Financial Services experience, but if you can demonstrate experience of owning end to end marketing communications programmes then we would still love to speak to you.
