Job Title: Practice Assurance Lead Location: Wandsworth, London Salary: Up to £58,893 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (36 hours) Closing Date: 4th November 2024 Practice Assurance Lead (2 positions) Are you passionate about delivering excellence in social work? The Richmond & Wandsworth Better Service Partnership seeks two Practice Assurance Leads to join Children's Services. This pivotal role supports our commitment to delivering high-quality social care through effective quality assurance frameworks and practice standards. About Us Employed under the Richmond & Wandsworth Better Service Partnership, we aim to provide the highest quality services at the lowest attainable cost. This role operates within a team committed to innovation and professional growth, with a focus on responsive, high-quality service delivery across Children's Services. Role Purpose Reporting to the Quality Assurance Service Manager, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting the Practice Assurance Framework. Your efforts will focus on developing high-quality, responsive services that drive our Outstanding Practice Framework and ensure effective support for children and their families. Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance Activities: Conduct reflective Learning Episodes (case audits), dip-sampling, thematic reviews, and multi-agency assurance projects to assess and improve the quality and impact of our practice. Learning Culture: Lead initiatives that create a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring child and family voices are central to practice evaluation and improvement. Collaborative Development: Work closely with Workforce Development to organise thematic practice weeks and integrate audit findings into updated practice guidance and procedures. Communication and Influence: Present findings, insights, and recommendations through reports, workshops, and strategic meetings to inform and improve service delivery. Essential Skills and Qualifications Social Work England registration with experience as a qualified social worker. Experience in Quality Assurance within social care, with a passion for impactful practice improvements. Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Leadership and Collaboration: Skilled in engaging with internal and external partners, promoting a collaborative approach to service improvement.
