Buttermilk is a global, independent and specialist creator marketing agency. Influence has been replaced with advocacy and this is starting to play a vital role in brands’ marketing mixes. The Opportunity For You

Working closely with the Creative and Senior Leadership teams, your role will be inextricably linked to the creative output and strategic growth of Buttermilk. You will collaborate with our Strategy team to create trend and culture storytelling and strategy for our diverse portfolio of clients, which includes renowned brands such as Gap, Dyson, New Look, and L’Oreal.


What We Need You To Do


  • Championing our creative philosophy
  • Generating brave creative ideas with strong conceptual insight
  • Conduct research on social media trends, emerging technologies, and influencer marketing strategies to inform creative work
  • Understanding and delivering trends and social media updates, internally and externally, through a cultural lens will allow you to apply your creativity in content creation briefs and help identify areas of growth for the company on socials with trends/ reporting.
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ideas for projects of all sizes, working with team members and across the agency to deliver creative solutions in response to comprehensive briefs.
  • Work on the initial drafts and mockups of creative ideas, bringing concepts to life under the direction of the Creative Director.
  • Develop concepts for a range of activations, from small engagements to large-scale hero ideas across all tiers.
  • Collaborate with the creative studio team and strategy department providing input on creative ideas
  • Incorporate feedback from the Creative Director and other team members to refine and improve creative content
  • Present ideas and outputs directly to clients with confidence, thriving in high-pressure situations that require excellent communication skills.
  • Assist in creating top-class briefs for creators based on campaign



What We’d Like From You


  • Min 1-2 years of Creative, Content creation or Social Media Manager
  • An entrepreneurial attitude to seeking out opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working in Google suite of products (Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.), Pitch (nice-to-have) and Keynote (not essential)
  • A willingness to learn
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work fast and smart under pressure, delivering against a set of outcomes within a fixed time frame and working in a nimble/ agile environment
  • [desirable] Understanding of influencers and tastemakers
  • A positive can-do attitude and great teamwork
  • Ability to follow a brief and meet deadlines
  • You are full of ideas, highly attuned to trends and culture, and have a strong interest in entertainment and digital content
