Job Description:
We are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and sustaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure both automotive and customer-specific requirements are met. The Quality Systems Engineer will lead internal audits, manage document control, and maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards. You will also be responsible for preparing the plant for customer and third-party audits, facilitating change management, and collaborating across departments. This role will require regular communication with both internal and external parties, including customers and suppliers.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with quality management systems and implementing procedures across a business
- Understanding of automotive requirements (IATF16949)
- Familiarity with customer-specific requirements
- Experience with change management processes
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Previous experience in leading or coaching teams
- Experience in auditing processes
- Resilient, systematic, and adaptable approach to work
Desirable:
- APQP experience
- Experience in the automotive sector
- IATF16949 Lead-auditor certification
