The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting dedicated QTS Secondary Tutors to provide 1:1 support to secondary-aged students in the Bromley area. We are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK, delivering crucial educational support to students who are out of mainstream education, those requiring additional assistance, and students with SEND.

We are looking for qualified and experienced secondary tutors to work with students who are currently not accessing traditional education. This role is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by helping young people achieve their full potential through tailored 1:1 sessions.

Position Details:

  • Location: Bromley
  • Position: Outreach Tutor
  • Hours: 10 - 30 hours per week
  • Timetable: 5 days per week, 2 hours per day
  • Pay: £25 - £30 PH
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged secondary pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Creative, patient, and able to think outside the box to engage students effectively

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
