About the role: We have an incredible opportunity waiting for you at a delightful, close-knit primary school in Edmonton, London. As our new Teaching Assistant for Early Years, you’ll work closely with a nurturing early years class of fewer than 20 students. Here, you’ll play an essential role in shaping young minds and making their first educational experience joyful, inspiring, and memorable. The class teacher will work alongside you, and you’ll also benefit from the support of an additional TA, ensuring that you have all the help you need to provide the best possible learning environment for the children. Application Requirements: • Previous experience in an early years or primary school setting is preferred, but not essential. • An interest in early childhood education and child development. • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff. • Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young children. • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one prior to starting. Key Responsibilities: • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and educational activities for young learners. • Work 1:1 or in small groups to assist students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills. • Help maintain a safe, structured, and stimulating classroom environment. • Assist in planning, preparation, and organization of class activities. • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
