This leading and world class law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with at least 5 years PQE, to join their Professional & Financial Risks Team. As part of their insurance group, which acts for the vast majority of Professional Indemnity Insurers in the market, you will possess a strong background in professional indemnity litigation along with a solid understanding of legal protocols. The team also acts for a large number of professional services firms and has been ranked as leaders in their field.
This position offers the chance to collaborate with various partners and attorneys, engaging in diverse, stimulating, and challenging work. You will enjoy a degree of autonomy while handling cases that span a wide range of professions, with values from tens of thousands to several million pounds. Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in business development and client engagement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims, including issues related to coverage.
- Providing high-quality and timely deliverables to clients, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to established practices and service level agreements.
- Contributing to the enhancement of the team's services, support, processes, and procedures.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by actively sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues, while taking ownership of team development aspects.
- Collecting and organizing necessary Management Information in line with client agreements.
- Expertise in professional indemnity litigation is essential, while experience in insurance is preferred but not mandatory.
