Basic Salary £65,000 Plus Annual Bonus Continental Shift Pattern (Days and nights) Training Private Healthcare 22 shifts leave (increasing with service) Day off for your Birthday Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme X3 Life Insurance  We are currently seeking an additional proactive Critical Electrical Biased HV Shift Leader to be based at an established Data Centre within the Northwest London location, working directly with the Data Hosting Company. Working within a specialist Critical team you would be based at a state-of-the-art technical Data Centre that offers an excellent modern and clean environment to work within. This is an opportunity not to be missed with plenty of training where needed and progression opportunities. This employer is also very sympathetic towards life work balance, with processes in place to eradicate the need for excessive overtime. You will need to hold a minimum of City & Guilds Electrical installations qualifications and to hold a current H/V Switching Authorisation certificate. You must also have previous experience of maintaining: Low/Medium/High voltage Electrical Systems, UPS, Power Generators, PDU’s and other associated systems, Pumps, HVAC Systems, Humidifier steam systems, Chillers, Cooling Towers, CRAC units, water & fire detection systems, fire gas suppression systems etc. Significant knowledge of and experience of working to international HSE standards. Previous experience managing a small team. Experience of operating in a customer facing role and dealing with technical problems in challenging situations  Your responsibilities will encompass: Operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability Monitoring and troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc) Utilising maximum capabilities of all operational systems including BMS, PMS, CMS Managing sub-contracted resources, as necessary, to deliver a safe and quality service to the Business Management and coordination of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) scheduled activity Management, delivery, and oversight of the site Permit to Work (PtW) system Ensuring a positive Health and Safety (H&S) culture is promoted and maintained across the site Management of critical works Operating and maintaining power supplies and environmental services to safeguard critical client systems and equipment To be fully conversant with Company policies, operating and emergency procedures, and initiate improvements, to minimise risk and to promote best practice Working closely with other site workers on all customer-impacting work to ensure streamlined communication and the maintenance of high levels of customer service Maintaining up-to-date operational documentation including processes and procedures, inventory reports, incident reports, capacity management reports, service reports, contract documentation, technical drawings etc Performing and recording details of site walkthroughs to verify efficient operation of equipment and monitoring systems
