The Logistics Administrator will play a central role in supporting despatch and logistics operations, with 80% of the role focused on administration. This involves coordinating logistics, maintaining precise records, and ensuring all orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Oversight: Manage the daily administrative workflow, ensuring accurate processing of orders, maintaining records, and producing regular reports.
- Stock and Inventory Control: Ensure stock levels are accurately maintained, with timely updates and any discrepancies effectively addressed.
- Departmental Collaboration: Liaise with other departments to ensure effective communication, address any potential delays, and provide seamless service to customers.
- Resource Management: Organise resources and adjust staffing according to demand, ensuring productivity aligns with fluctuating operational needs.
- Transport and Delivery Coordination: Arrange transport schedules, confirming delivery timings and any special handling requirements while ensuring compliance with safe loading practices.
