We have an exciting opportunity for a Application Engineer based in Bedford to join one of clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a global engineering company who have seen continuous growth for several decades.
Responsibilities of the Application Engineer
- Selection, preparation and delivery of pumping equipment estimates and quotations.
- Calculate pipe friction losses and produce system curves using in-house tools.
- Prepare estimates and quotations.
- Ensure all data recording systems and costings are up to date and current.
- Involved with bespoke projects.
- Provide technical support
Requirements for a successful Application Engineer
- HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience/Knowledge of centrifugal pumps, applications, performance curves, system curves etc.
- Experience in the wastewater industry and frameworks.
- Excellent working knowledge of ISO quality systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.

Salary: £38,000 - £46,000 per annum
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday Thursday 8:15am - 4:45pm, Fridays 8:15am - 1:45pm
