Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Experienced in SEND Location: England, Greater London, RichmondJob Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours 8:30-15:30Primary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £83.85 - £100 Per dayBenefits: PAYEQualifications: Teaching Assistant Level 1Skills: Experience with special needs, SEMH, ASD, Personal CareJob Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the classroomProvidin some students with personal careAssisting the class teacher in creating a positive learning environmentProviding one-on-one support to students with individual education plansAssisting with personal care tasks for students as requiredImplementing behaviour management strategies effectively Education: Minimum Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification or any other related field.Experience: Previous experience working with special needs students, particularly those with SEMH and ASD.Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs and disabilitiesAbility to provide personal care supportStrong communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of behaviour management techniques Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in special education or related field Working Conditions: This role will primarily be based in a classroom setting within a school environment. Some tasks may require physical exertion and personal care assistance.
