Your new company
You will be joining the existing trade team at one of the largest employers in the Edinburgh area. They work across various domestic & commercial properties and require a reliable, hard-working electrician to begin working on their void & occupied housing.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties, predominantly working on a kitchen & bathroom upgrade project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and upgrade electrical systems in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues, full rewires & inspection and testing on domestic properties.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean work environment.
What you'll need to succeed We are looking to speak to an electrician with a background in maintenance, ideally working in housing & domestic properties. You will need to be able to provide your up-to-date ECS qualifications and show proof of a valid UK Driving licence with minimal endorsements. As this role is within domestic properties, you should be comfortable working with members of the public.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a very long-term position on a standard Monday to Friday work pattern. We will pay you weekly PAYE with no additional charges, and you will have the option to have paid annual leave accrued. You will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant throughout your contract.
