Management Accountant Can you work onsite in London? Do you have experience within an owner managed business? Do you have experience partnering directly with company owners or directors? MacGregor Black is delighted to partner with an owner-managed business in their search for a Management Accountant. This is a full-time role, based on site in London. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to manage a global portfolio of properties, as well as their personal financial affairs. Based in the London office, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the international properties, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and optimal financial performance. Key Responsibilities Oversee the financial operations of a global property portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards. Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable for each property, maintaining strong financial health. Collaborate with property managers and local accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial data. Conduct regular financial audits and implement controls to safeguard assets and optimise financial performance. Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies aimed at improving the profitability of the property portfolio. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance with local and international regulations. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making. Keep up to date with changes in financial regulations and industry trends, ensuring best practices are followed. Manage the business owner’s personal financial matters, including investments, property, and other private assets. Oversee personal bookkeeping, expense tracking, and financial planning for the business owner. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring full compliance with UK tax laws and regulations. Offer financial advice and insights to the business owner on personal investments and wealth management. Coordinate with external advisors, such as tax consultants and financial planners, to ensure comprehensive financial oversight. What are we looking for? Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with directors. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel occasionally to oversee international properties as needed. Competitive salary benefits.
