Electrical Engineer - Commissioning Specialist Salary: €60 - 80k Location: Co. Louth Are you a skilled Electrical Engineer with a hands-on experience in commissioning? Our client who specializes in delivering high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical infrastructure projects and is known for providing cutting-edge solutions across various industries is seeking a Commissioning Specialist in Co. Louth to take charge of HV/MV electrical systems on major projects. The Crewit team is looking forward to receiving your CV. Key Responsibilities: Conduct on-site commissioning and testing of HV/MV electrical systems, including switchgear and transformers. Ensure compliance with all electrical standards and project specifications. Collaborate with project teams and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the commissioning phase. Maintain detailed documentation of commissioning activities, including test results and handover documents. Ensure health and safety protocols are followed on all project sites.Key Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in HV and MV systems. Hands-on on the ground commissioning experience with switchgear and other electrical equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and industry regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments. Willingness to travel to different project sites as needed. Strong communication and teamwork skills.Desirable Skills: Experience in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors. Knowledge of SCADA systems and protection relay testing. Certifications in electrical safety, such as IOSH or NEBOSH, are an advantage.Benefits: Competitive salary package.
