X4 Technology are partnered with a global oil & gas company based in London who are offering the opportunity for a Project Management Officer on a day rate contract basis to join their team. This is an initial 3 months contract with a strong chance of extension.
This role is centralized around resource and work planning & control, budget management, reporting, change management and product quality control.
Responsibilities of the PMO include:
- Produce project reports and ensure that status reporting is fit for purpose, complete and communicated effectively
- Examine project documentation/data for accuracy
- Support the PM to create a project budget and work through approval processes to agree the budget
- Facilitate meetings to ensure that projects are formally closed and subsequently reviewed
Requirements of the PMO include:
- Extensive PMO experience within a fast-paced environment
- Strong financial management (e.g understanding financial consolidations at the end of the month, reporting on actuals vs forecasts and doing analysis)
- Excellent governance (e.g being able to define whether projects should be agile or waterfall)
- Very strong resource management across large portfolios of projects
The day rate is coming at £400-450/d inside IR35, with flexibility for the right candidate depending on previous experience. You will be required to be onsite 2-3 days a week in Central London.
