Employment Lawyer

Excellent opportunity for an Employment Lawyer to enter into the public sector! A local authority, based in Plymouth, is in need of an ambitious Employment Lawyer to join their team. As an Employment Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal advice in relation to Employment Law, policy, governance and appearing as an advocate for the Council in Court and at tribunals.

This role does not require prior public sector experience!

CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 month contract

Key Responsibilities

• Handle you own Employment law caseload from start to completion
• Deal with matters in relation to Employment Law regarding both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Advise on TUPE and a broad range of other employment issues for clients
