Shift Manager

Shift Manager Alexander Steele is recruiting a shift manager to join a leading food manufacturing business based in London. You will be responsible for overseeing all production related matters on your shift, ensuring that products are manufactured on time and meet the quality standards set. Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee the daily operations of the production floor during your designated shift. * Monitor production output and quality to meet or exceed established targets and standards. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to resolve any production issues and optimise processes. * Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements. * Adhere to and enforce all safety and regulatory guidelines to create a safe working environment for all employees. Background Experience: * 3+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment ideally within food * Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels. * Educated to GCSE-level or equivalent / Food Hygiene certificates / SAP knowledge * IOSHH trained * HACCP/Food Safety Level 3 What’s on Offer: * Paying £45,000 * Holiday allowance * Company pension * Life assurance * 3 on/3 off – days/nights For more information regarding this opportunity contact Lomond MacPherson for further discussion
