Paint Process Engineer

Paint Process Engineer Do you have previous experience working as a Paint Process Engineer? Do you have an analytical mindset and able to troubleshoot challenges? Major Recruitment are working in partnership Polytec, a leading automotive manufacturer, to recruit a Paint Process Engineer on a permanent basis based in Telford. As a Paint Process Engineer you will play a pivotal part in supporting the day to day running of the Paint Plant, providing support to the Paint Plant Manager. Key Responsibilities of a Paint Process Engineer: Lead by example, ensuring a safe & efficient working environment is maintained at all times. Liaise and coordinate with other departments to solve problems concerning production planning, resource, and skill allocation to achieve the production plan. Ensure safe working practices are maintained and standard operated procedures are adhered to with strict adherence to the process. Contribute to the continuous improvement of methods and working procedures in order improve efficiency, productivity, and availability. Ensure all Process documentation is completed and complies with company procedure. Liaise with the Quality and Production teams to investigate concerns and make corrective action. Support the 8D process. Ensure Process Conformity and take appropriate action where breaches occur. Provide support to the technical teams Ability to work under pressure in a high turn over Multi Batch paint facility. Carry out workflow assessments and internal process audits and make recommendations for improvements. Implement and Maintain a PFMEA process and control plan.
