Project Manager - Exeter - Water Projects J3A Recruitment are proud and excited to be working with one of the UK’s leading Engineering & Construction businesses, a company that continues to grow and expand in key markets. Due to recent project wins, they’re now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join them at the early stages of AMP8 projects on the South West Water framework. For the right Project Manager, this is an opportunity to be at the forefront of AMP8 initiatives and play a pivotal role for years to come. What the Project Manager will be doing * Leading and ensuring successful delivery of single, complex projects * Managing Health & Safety, Design, Customer Relations, and Cost/Value through the ECI phase * Monitoring progress of both offsite and onsite operations against set deadlines and budget limitations For the Project Manager to be successful, we need... * Proven team leadership and strong people management skills * Experience in a major projects environment, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor on similar water projects * Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team * Knowledge of contract administration (desirable) * Programme-focused, with strong planning and organizational skills to ensure on-time, complete project delivery * Minimum HNC qualification, ideally in Civils or Construction, though flexibility on subjects * IT literacy essential * Professional qualification (desirable) * SMSTS safety qualification and relevant CSCS card (desirable) Package on offer for the Project Manager * Salary up to £75k, depending on experience * Car allowance * 34 days annual leave (with option to buy or sell up to 3 days) * Private medical insurance (option to add family cover) * Life Assurance * Defined contribution pension scheme matched up to 8% * 2 days of volunteering opportunities * Flexible and Agile working (role-dependent) * Employee Assistance Programme * Professional membership fees * Flexible Benefits scheme with additional purchase options Similar roles considered – Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Framework Manager, Project Lead, Head of Projects, Senior Site Agent, Senior Construction Manager
