Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Protocol Education are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for SEN schools in the area o Richmond. This role will give you great experience for working with special needs within a school environemt.Location: England, Greater London, RichmondJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time Term time, hours 8:30 - 15:30 Primary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £419.25 - £500 Per week + PAYE, no umberella fees.Qualifications: Teaching Assistant Level 1Skills: First Aid trainingSEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health)Experience with Autism Job Duties: The Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant will provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the educational setting. Duties include assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans, supporting students with their learning and personal care needs, and promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment.Required Qualifications: Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualificationUK ExperienceEducation: Minimum Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualificationExperience: Previous experience working with students with SEND is desirable.Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of supporting students with SENDAbility to assist with personal care needsGood communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional training or exerpience in supporting students with specific needs such as Autism or SEMHWorking Conditions: This role involves working within a classroom setting under the guidance of the teaching staff.
