Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: £80 - £90 per day

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialised SEN setting based in Doncaster. About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with special educational needs, assisting them in achieving their academic and personal development goals. This role requires patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing personalised support within a specialised setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students with varying SEN needs (autism, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural difficulties, etc.) Assist with classroom activities, supporting the teacher in delivering tailored lessons and ensuring students are engaged Help to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students Support with personal care and physical needs, if required Monitor and record progress, offering feedback to teachers and senior staff Foster independence, social skills, and positive behaviour in students
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or adults with SEN (desirable but not essential) A compassionate, patient, and resilient nature Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive and flexible approach to work A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs Why Work for Prospero Teaching?
