Mechanical Design Team Leader

Our client is looking for a Design Manager/Team Leader to head up their Mechanical Design department in Beccles.

Key Responsibilities of this Mechanical Design Team Leader:

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers in the development of mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks.
• Oversee design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and technical specifications.
• Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvements based on testing results.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Requirements of this Mechanical Design Team Leader position:

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is essential.
• Significant experience in the automation industry, with a track record of successful project leadership.
• Experience within the automation industry
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
