Job Advertisement: CNC Setter Operator Company Overview: Our client, based in High Wycombe, is a leading manufacturer specializing in the production of intricate components for the Oil and Gas sector. As part of their ongoing growth and commitment to quality, they are currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter Operator to join their dynamic small team. Position: CNC Setter Operator Location: High Wycombe, United Kingdom Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities: * Set up and operate CNC machines, including Okuma Millturn machinery, to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. * Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job. * Experience with multi-axis machining is highly desirable. * Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to production schedules. * Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery as needed. * Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. * Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Requirements: * Proven experience as a CNC Setter Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to the Oil and Gas sector. * Understanding of Turning or Milling operations. * Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. * Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and tooling setup. * Experience with Okuma Millturn machinery is highly desirable. * Ideally, experience with multi-axis machining. * Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. * Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation. * Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Experience with other systems/machinery will be considered.
