Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer Location: United Kingdom (Remote) – Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship. Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our innovative team. You will be responsible for: Developing key backend features using Kotlin/Java. Managing container orchestration for cloud-native applications with Kubernetes. Optimizing and handling data across SQL, Timeseries, and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Redis). Building and maintaining backend systems to ensure high performance and scalability. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing system performance for maximum stability. Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin. Proven commercial experience in backend development. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Highly committed, self-motivated, and goal-oriented. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
