The benefits of this LGV2 vacancy are: Can accept newly passed drivers Guaranteed 48 hours paid every week - £744 Gross pay minimum weekly This will result in a permanent role for the right candidate Immediate starts available Weekly pay every Friday Overtime available Site parking Staff canteen Immediate start Company discounts after a qualifying period Day to Day Duties As a LGV2 driver you will: Be responsible for the delivery of kitchen and bedroom products to customers homes with the assistance of a drivers mate Carry out pre and post-journey vehicle checks Ensure timely delivery to customers Load and unload vehicle with assistance of drivers mate Complete delivery paperwork and logs accurately Operate the vehicle in accordance with all legal and company safety requirements Follow assigned delivery routes while adhering to time schedules Communicate with the logistics team regarding any delays or issues on the road Essential Skills As a LGV2 driver, you must hold a valid UK Category C driving licence - new passes welcome Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) Valid digital tachograph card (Digi Card) Good understanding of driving safety and regulations Good time management and communication skills Physically fit and capable of handling goods if required Desirable Experience Previous experience delivering large or bulky goods preferred but not essential Good customer service skills Experience using in-vehicle technology and navigation systems What training is provided?
