Vehicle Electrical Test Technician - £40,000 - Farnborough Learn to work with HV / EV / Hybrid vehicles Shorterm Group are partnered with a well-known automotive manufacturer to recruit a new vehicle electrical test technician to join the team, and get the chance to work on BEVs and hybrid electric vehicles, on site at their Farnborough facility. While HV / EV experience would be great it's not a necessity, and we are well-equipped to help you add to your current set of skills and get into the future of automotive, working on high voltage / hybrid systems. With a focus on development and test functions, this role is ideal for an auto electrician or vehicle electrical test technician who wants to make the jump to EV / HV / hybrid vehicles. As a vehicle electrical test technician with us, you will be responsible for: * Fault finding/rectification on all electrical systems / CAN network harnesses using appropriate diagnostic software * Build/modification of harnesses from drawings (HV, LV, CAN), good understanding of vehicle harnesses and different termination components * Having a pro-active approach to testing, and a can-do attitude For this position, we would consider an auto electrician, or electrical test technician with background in automotive, commercial vehicles, rolling stock.
