The Role - Territory Sales Engineer, Analytical Instrumentation Following expansion, they seek to recruit a customer-focused Territory Sales Engineer, responsible for sales across their materials characterisation product range. Full responsibilities include: Management of existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation and follow up. Effective territory management with direct responsibility for sales projects and negotiations. Support the development of customer applications. Participation at conferences and exhibitions. Support the development of marketing communications with customers. Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations and train customers on the correct use of their equipment. Your Background - Territory Sales Engineer, Analytical Instrumentation To be considered for this exciting role, you will ideally be able to demonstrate a solid track record selling laboratory based instrumentation, as well as the following: Suitable candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics or related discipline. At least two years' experience and demonstrable success in selling analytical instruments into a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, petro/chemical and academia. Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills Ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, Ph D level scientists and technicians Availability to travel throughout the defined territory, the UK and occasional overseas visits for training and business meetings.
