SEN Teaching Assistant

Pertemps Education are seeking SEN support staff to work close to the Thetford area of Norfolk. We are seeking teaching assistants and support staff to work on a full-time basis, with children from the ages of 4-19 with a range of special needs. These can include: Autism (ASD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) Speech Language and Communication needs (SLCN) Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Epilepsy Dyslexia Other complex needsThe work is within an independent SEN school boasting acres of land, and incredible facilities, including forest schools, archery, horticultural learning, animal care ad state of the art science lab.   We are seeking staff to work within this school on a support basis. This role is a full-time position from 08.30-15.45, with breaks in the morning and afternoon. Lunch is provided for all staff too. We are open to part time options, and these must be for full days only.   Whilst the initial contract is a temporary contract via the agency, the school are very keen on taking people onto permanent contracts.   The successful applicant will have experience in working with special needs children, however we will consider those with experience outside of the classroom, and those that have worked with adults with learning difficulties.     You will be required to provide documents including your Right to Work, proof of address, UK DBS check, professional references covering the most recent 2-year period, overseas police checks (where applicable) and you will also be required to complete a safeguarding questionnaire.   To apply for this role, please follow the instructions to apply on this advert, or email your CV direct to (url removed)
