About the Teacher of PE Role: As a Teacher of PE, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons across a range of abilities and age groups. You will inspire a love for sport and physical activity, encouraging students to develop their skills, confidence, and teamwork abilities. The successful candidate will be committed to promoting health and wellbeing, while also preparing students for competitive sports and personal fitness challenges. Key Responsibilities: * Planning and Delivering Lessons: Design and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that cater to the needs of all students, fostering a positive and active learning environment. * Extracurricular Activities: Lead and support a variety of extracurricular sports clubs and activities, helping students to further develop their skills and interests outside of the classroom. * Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess students' performance and progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development and setting achievable targets for improvement. * Health and Wellbeing Promotion: Promote the importance of physical activity, health, and wellbeing, encouraging students to adopt healthy lifestyles. * School Events and Competitions: Organise and participate in school sports events, inter-school competitions, and community projects, showcasing the talents and achievements of the students.
