CNC Haas Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator About Us Our client is a small precision machine shop specializing in high-quality, custom components. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Haas Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our dedicated team. Job Summary As a CNC Haas Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls. You will work from engineering drawings to produce one-offs and small batch sizes, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC Haas milling machines with Fanuc controls. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements. Set up workpieces, fixtures, and tooling to ensure accurate machining. Monitor the machining process and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality. Utilize various measuring equipment ( Verniers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances. Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiencies. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator, specifically with Haas machines and Fanuc controls. Strong understanding of machining principles, practices, and processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in both metric and imperial units. Proficiency with measuring instruments and inspection tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Preferred Qualifications Technical certificate or diploma in CNC machining or related field.
