Senior Consultant - Systems Hybrid role with extensive travel £80,000 - £100,000pa + excellent benefits Fantastic opportunity to join a long-established Supply Chain Management consultancy driven by a team of industry experts highly committed to achieving customer focussed results. They work on client scenarios right across the supply chain spectrum with integrity, professionalism and consistency. Due to continuing growth, they now seek to further strengthen their consultancy team with a warehouse / Distribution IT Systems and Data professional. The job remit will include involvement in a wide range of projects across varying scales. Key Responsibilities: * Evaluating clients' individual operational complexities and scoping and designing operational systems to suit their needs and contributing to their data strategy. * Working closely with developers to build systems that deliver the required outcomes. * Ensure data is captured, retained and managed in an efficient manner to enable further insight and reporting. * Working with individual businesses on Business Process Improvement projects. * Project manage system changes. Key Skills/Experience: * Proven experience in leading systems development. * An inherent understanding of key development tools such as BI Tools, C#, VBA, SQL, MSAccess etc * An operational mindset and experience in business partnering with operations and commercial teams to translate their needs into systems. * Ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical individuals. * An understanding of the supply chain and logistics space If you have previous experience in leading systems development within a logistics or manufacturing environment then Bis Henderson Recruitment would be keen to hear from you.
