We are working on behalf of a leading FM service provider to recruit a highly experienced Senior Account Manager for a permanent, full-time position based in Birmingham. This role offers a competitive salary, company car or allowance, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities: As Senior Account Manager, you will take ownership of multiple contracts across the Education and Healthcare sectors, managing key services such as M&E, building fabric maintenance, security, cleaning, and more. You will oversee day-to-day operations, P&L responsibilities (contracts exceeding £5m), and focus on driving revenue growth, continuous improvement, and ensuring high standards of Health & Safety.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of operational managers
- Full P&L responsibility for contracts and ensuring commercial performance
- Collaborating closely with clients to understand their business strategy and deliver effective solutions
- Supporting change management initiatives and ensuring smooth operational processes
- Maintaining compliance with Health & Safety standards across all teams and services
- Identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements
- Overseeing performance management and setting clear objectives for your team
- Extensive operational management experience, ideally with a technical bias
- Proven P&L responsibility in contracts valued over £5m
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in supplier contract negotiations
- Demonstrable knowledge of PFI and statutory compliance (SFG20)
- Leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams
- Analytical and financially aware, with excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- £65,000 + bonus
