Principal Data Scientist London (onsite)£80,000-£100,000We’re partnering with an AI-focused start-up in the Biotech space focused on using AI to advance medicines. They’re looking for a Principal Data Scientist to join their existing team of 3 AI experts to work on projects using multimodal data from various sources, working on projects from research to deployment. THE ROLEAs Principal Data Scientist for the business you will:Read research papers to come up with new ways of using AI to solve business problems Lead projects using multimodal data and cutting-edge AI techniques Take projects from ideation through to deployment, getting involved in DevOps and Version Control where neededOpportunity to mentor junior team members Liaise with senior stakeholders across the business SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Master’s or PhD in a relevant subjectStrong commercial experience as a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer with a preference for Biotechnology industry experience Experience working with cutting-edge AI techniques Experience working with large, multimodal data sets from various sources Good communication skillsTech: Python, SQL, Cloud technologySALARY AND BENEFITSBasic salary £80,000-£100,000London office – required in minimum 3 times per weekPrivate Medical careDiscretionary performance related bonusPensionWider Benefits packageHOW TO APPLYPlease register your interest for this role by sending your CV to Rosie O’Callaghan via the apply link on this page
