Section Engineer

Abatec is recruiting for a freelance Section Engineer to join a landmark, long term Civil Engineering project in Bridgwater. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning contractor that are delivering a £250m civil engineering project in the local region Our client can offer stable, continuous work until 2027/2028. Some understanding of RC structures would be useful as well as infrastructure and general civil engineering As a Section Engineer you will: * Manage a team of Engineers, ensuring compliance with the project requirements. * Identify and resource materials to support the programme of planned works. * Identify and record NCR’s, ITPs and changes to scope of works. * Write, review and issue RAMS. * Produce look-ahead programme of works, and review progress against programme. * Be required to undertake security clearance, due to the nature of the project.
