A great family run business working on a variety of projects including, commercial office space, hotels, data centres, leisure centres and the aerospace industry. You will be working alongside a team of Building Services Engineers and Architects. With a range of large projects secured for the short term, they offer plenty of work at a growing company. The office is located just a stone's throw away from the tram stop, local shops and leisure centres, so there is plenty for you to do on your lunch break.
Over the last 10 years, the company has grown to 19 staff, 13 of which are M&E and 6 are in the Architecture team.
They are working on critical industry schemes and have repeat business from the likes of Harrods, Rolls-Royce, Bentleys, and service Radisson Hotel group entire UK business. Along with Industrial, Manufacturing, Aviation & Theatres. Looking to expand into Manchester data centres, and their engineers get exposed to all projects and there is a very steep learning curve using AutoCAD and Revit, MagicCAD.
Your new role
You will be working in a modern office amongst a friendly team of engineers across the companies and sectors mentioned above. You will be completing designs and drawings via CAD & Revit software and assisting engineers of all levels with their designs. The office boasts a fast-paced atmosphere, and you will be expected to work on multiple schemes simultaneously and manage your workload. As you progress throughout your career, your involvement with more complex projects will increase as your fluency with Revit.
What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in the role you will have a minimum of one year's UK Revit/ AutoCAD experience within an M&E consultancy and be able to work from the South Manchester office 5 days per week. Although this is a junior role, it does require a competency based interview stage on Revit with industry examples and cannot accept university Revit examples.
