Type: Respite, Short Term and Long Term Respite (days/weeks), Short Term (weeks 2 years) and Long Term (up until 18 years of age) Generous fostering allowance average of £27,000 per annum (paid every 4 weeks) All applicants must reside within Cornwall,Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire or Bristol to apply. Becoming a foster carer may be a suitable fit for teaching assistants, teachers, healthcare professionals, ex-police officers and ex-armed forces personnel. This list is not exhaustive. Requirements: Over the age of 21 years Have a permanent spare bedroom Have the right to remain in the UK Genuine passion for improving the lives of children Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate different age groups and needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Resilience and the ability to manage changing situations Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting Do you live in Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Cornwall, Wiltshire or Bristol? Generous fostering allowance average of £27,000 Daily Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with other professionals to ensure high standards of care. Advocate for the child's well-being and development. Create a loving, caring, and stable environment for children to explore their interests and reach their educational and life potential.
