Electrical Tutor / Assessor

OVERVIEW: ELECTRICAL TUTOR / ASSESSOR An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Assessor to join their successful team. Based from home, you will be responsible for the delivery of Electrical apprenticeships to a caseload of learners in the Hampshire region. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Electrical sector with experience in Electrical Installation within the Domestic & Commercial sectors. You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent), a level 3 Electrical qualification and also hold a CSCS Gold Card. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: ELECTRICAL TUTOR / ASSESSOR Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving apprenticeship qualifications, including Functional skills Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved electrical training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner. Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: ELECTRICAL TUTOR / ASSESSOR A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.) Teaching qualification (desirable) Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 (desirable) L3 Electrical / Electrotechnical qualification A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within electrical installation Experience of working remotely Excellent communication skills Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle SALARY/BENEFITS: ELECTRICAL TUTOR / ASSESSOR Starting Salary 35-37K Work tools provided Full travel expenses (paid from home) Excellent employee benefits package Opportunity for career progression and personal development
