Contract Cloud Security Specialist

We are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Security Specialist on a contract basis for one of our clients in the technology industry based in Cambridgeshire! This is a hybrid position with only 2 days required on site per week.Cloud Security Specialist – Cambridgeshire – Hybrid – 6 Months+ DetailsRole: Cloud Security SpecialistLocation: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid)Type: Contract (Inside IR35)Length: 6 months+ The client are looking for an enthusiastic member to help train and mentor some junior members of the team. They need someone to join on a contract for the next 6 months minimum.Responsibilities:Collaborate with Security, Architecture, and Cloud teams to plan and optimise AWS security controls and implement CNAPP capabilities.Provide technical security advice and guidance to team members and the wider business.Conduct technical assessments to identify cloud security vulnerabilities and risks.Implement security measures for cloud-native applications, including container and serverless architectures.Establish a sustainable framework for continuous Cloud Security management.Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate security controls.Enhance security configurations and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.Implement standards to safeguard workloads and cloud infrastructure.
