Role Responsibilities
- Receiving instructions and providing legal advice on purchase, sales, re-mortgage, and transfer of equity matters.
- Handling ID requirements, source of funds, gift deposits, and conducting risk assessments.
- Issuing contracts and managing mortgage redemptions.
- Managing the exchange of contracts.
- Ordering and reporting on searches.
- Checking and reporting on titles, including leases, and raising associated enquiries.
- Reviewing and reporting on mortgages and management packs.
- Handling both new-build and second-hand transactions.
- Building and maintaining relationships with referrers.
Requirements
- Experience in residential conveyancing with full responsibility for managing all aspects of your own caseload.
- Confident and professional in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Enthusiastic and motivated with a proactive approach.
