Client Representative for Cables (HDD)

Our client, a distinguished developer in the renewables sector, is seeking an HDD Client Representative for Cables to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves being based offshore at Weybourne, Norfolk, working from a Jack-Up vessel positioned 1km from the shoreline. The crew changes will be tidal dependent and organised from the port of Wells-Next-the Sea in Norfolk. The position entails working rotations of 14 days on and 14 days off or as agreed with the Project Manager. Key Responsibilities: Represent the client as the main point of contact during offshore project specific works from the Jack-Up vessel Facilitate effective communication between offshore project teams and onshore management Monitor offshore progress and ensure adherence to safety and contractual agreements Conduct regular meetings with offshore Barge Master and vessel OIMs to receive updates on project status and address any queries Collaborate with onshore project managers and technical teams to align deliverables with client requirements Uphold strict safety and quality standards to meet or exceed clients' expectations Generate comprehensive daily reports and documentation to present to onshore project managers Attend meetings and the daily 09.00 call with the client operations team as advised by onshore project management Job Requirements: Experience in offshore windfarm operations and offshore client representation Understanding of HDD duct installation from a Jack-Up, diving, and associated engineering principles Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including IMO guidelines, Classification Society rules, and IMCA guidelines for offshore working Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with contractors, colleagues, and other stakeholders involved in offshore operations Strong teamwork skills for collaborating with other client project managers, engineers, and contractors Relevant health and safety training, such as Emergency Training - note that Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) is not required If you have the necessary experience and are eager to play a pivotal role in a high-profile project within the renewables sector, we would like to hear from you.
