Buyer – Rotherham / Hybrid - £28,000 - £33,000 + CIPS + Bonus Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working exclusively with an innovative global manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their team. As a Buyer, you will play a key role in procuring goods, equipment and materials in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner whilst maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. CIPS study support and development 27 days annul leave plus bank holidays Annual pay reviews Bonus scheme Westfield health Death in service Regular company events/awards Pension scheme Buyer Duties: Drive forward category strategies in supplier selection and development, including RFQs, benchmarking and capability analysis Obtaining best price and terms for new contracts through negotiation Supplier relationship management Support business KPIs - provide supplier performance feedback, recommendations and corrective actions Expedite supplier order acknowledgements Determine most effective component control method Manage inbound supply, expedites, reschedules and cancellations, minimising risk to the business Control and manage imports shipments Support customer orders, production planning and new enquiries Review MRP system to ensure that the data is correct including correct vendor details, agreed safety stock, MOQ, lead times and component pricing Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday (Flexi time) with a 1pm finish on a Friday Required skills & experience: Manufacturing/production industry background with an understanding of MRP Excellent negotiating skills Strong commercial skills Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables/Vlookups) If you would like to discuss this Buyer role in more detail, then do get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now!
