Counterbalance Forklift Driver To be suitable for this vacancy you will have experience of driving a counterbalance forklift holding the relevant in date licences, if your licence has expired an inhouse trainer can provide a refresher on day 1. Offered on a temporary basis for peak season to Christmas our client is guaranteed work to the 20th of December 2024, possibly beyond. Start: ASAP Location: Newmarket Salary: £11.49 Per hour for the first two weeks increasing to £12.93 per hour thereafter Hours: Week 1, 2pm – 10.30pm finishing on Friday at 8pm week 2, 6am – 2pm (Alternating weeks) Duration: Temporary to 20th December 2024 Benefits: Holiday Pay + Pension Duties will include: * Moving stock around the warehouse and the yard * Taking palletised goods off the machines by using the forklift * Liaising with delivery drivers * Ensuring stock rotation is timely Key skills and attributes required: * Of fit health for lifting and loading materials * Strong work ethic and desire to progress. * Ability to work quickly and methodically * Ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks * Ability to follow instruction * Relevant Forklift Licence If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
