Job Title: Sales Executive - Retail Packaging
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in the retail packaging industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the retail packaging industry.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, understand market trends, and determine customer needs.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise.
- Regularly meet with clients to understand their packaging requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
Product Knowledge & Consultation:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product offerings, including materials, designs, and sustainability options.
- Provide clients with expert advice on packaging solutions that best meet their needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
Sales Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and materials.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close sales.
- Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Follow up on leads and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the retail packaging industry.
- Strong understanding of retail packaging materials, products, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
