Network Engineer

Enterprise Network Engineer (SC cleared) - £575/day via Umbrella - 3 months - Ad-hoc visits onsite - SCC FLEX CONTRACT We are seeking a talented and experienced Enterprise Network Engineer to join our specialist team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex networks, with a strong focus on Cisco technologies Your Responsibilities as the suitable Enterprise Network Engineer: Design, deploy, and manage advanced Routing & Switching solutions in large-scale enterprise environments. Implement and support Cisco SD-WAN solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and network optimization. Troubleshoot complex network issues, providing technical expertise and resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop network strategies and solutions that align with business objectives. Conduct network performance analysis, capacity planning, and security audits. Ensure compliance with security policies and standards in a high-security environment. Participate in network design and architecture discussions, recommending improvements and upgrades. As the right Enterprise Network Engineer, you will have: Active Security clearance. CCIE Routing & Switching certification (mandatory). Proven experience with Cisco SD-WAN design and implementation. In-depth understanding of enterprise network architecture, including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP, VTP). Strong knowledge of network security principles and firewalls. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Cloud security experience.
