Senior Engineer

We are working with a main contractor who are recruiting a Senior Engineer to join a main contractor on a local authority infrastructure scheme, circa £10m. The contractor is renowned for their culture, excellence in delivery and development of people. Their turnover is set to pass £1.5bn with projects thriving in highways, environment and construction across the country. They are recruiting a Senior Engineer to lead an enthusiastic engineering team and really take ownership of the engineering aspects of this job, bridging the team of the day-to-day engineering and long-term programme. The project will run until Spring 2025, and upon completion there is an opportunity to step up to a Sub Agent role on a new bypass scheme in Oxfordshire. Senior Engineer duties: * Creating quality assurance documentation * Reviewing drawings and value engineering where possible * Managing RFI’s and technical queries * Producing Inspection Test Plans * Supporting the development of junior engineers Please feel free to get in touch with any questions about the project or job role
