The company that I am working with have been in the Environmental Industry for 30 years and became limited in 2007. Now the Commercial Sites you will be working on as an Asbestos Analyst will be for a wide variety or Blue-Chip Environmental and Industrial Organisations, property development, local authorities, and management consultants to name a few.
The successful Asbestos Analyst will possess:
- BOHS P403 + P404/RSPH3 certification with a minimum of 12 months field experience
- A full UK driving license is desirable but not essential
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and HSG248 'The analyst guide' in relation to asbestos
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to work under their own initiative and as part of a team
Key Duties being an Asbestos Analyst:
- Having strong verbal communication skills to use to build and maintain working relationships with the company's list of clients.
- Work alongside all internal staff to create a network of resourceful minds.
- Confidently carry out all 4 stages from a clearance, background, smoke, visual, re-occupation, personal air testing and leak reassurance.
- Put together accurate asbestos reports from collated data.
