Associate Architect for Residential Practice - Pathway to Directorship

A small yet ambitious architecture practice, dedicated to delivering bespoke high end residential projects, is seeking an experienced Associate with strong business development skills to join their team. Located in South East London, the practice offers a friendly working environment with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business and a clear pathway to directorship in the future.The team of 7 work specialise in private residential projects, bespoke brownfield site developments as well as several multi unit housing projects for mid-tier developers. Business development experience is essential for this role. The practice will consider more junior candidates who want to progress into a leadership position if they have strong client facing skills. The salary will be based on experience level.Responsibilities:Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completionDevelop and maintain client relationships, ensuring project excellenceDrive business development initiatives to secure new opportunities and expand the portfolioSupport the day-to-day management of the practice, working closely with the DirectorsInspire and mentor a talented team of architects and designersRequirements:ARB registered with between 5-10 years post Part III qualification experienceProven business development experience within the residential sectorA strong networks of clients and contacts within the London property marketConfident leading teams, delivering projects, and making critical decisionsExceptional client facing skills, developing briefs and leading client meetingsHave experience in practice management, including fees, budgets, project resourcing, risk management and recruitmentYou’re confident, inspiring, and able to remain calm under pressureProficient in AutoCAD; Revit desirable but not essentialHave the right to live and work in the UKWith a clear pathway to directorship and equity in the company, this is a rare opportunity to join a highly successful, bespoke practice.
